Project Title : Art of living

Technology : PHP and Drupal

Description:

The Art of living website is a web application, which is built using PHP and Drupal technology. It is a 3-tier application and it is multilingual application. The main functions of the application give information on the programs conducted in art of living and allows user to opt for the program which they are interested by having look at the details provided on site. It is in-house product.

Below are the main modules of the application.

• Programs: The main features of this module is, it gives details about the upcoming events/program (yoga, meditation and so on). Also, it allows user to register the program if they wish to

• Lifestyle: The main features of this modules is, it gives information about how to improve health by adopting few lifestyle changes. Like, Personality Development, Family & Relationships and Spiritual Experience and so on

• Wisdom: This module gives information on Practical tips for better living, Short quotes to brighten your day and provides option to ask questions and answers

• Registration: The end users will fill in all the required details and there is a payment gateway module which helps users to pay. End to end testing has been done for this module which makes the user life easy and safe

• As Drupal plays a vital role in this application, tested the backend of Drupal by doing functional testing, system testing and UI testing and has executed regression testing and have done documentation for the backend of Drupal

• Post install testing it has to be been after install process which happens on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In this install process, the test server is deployed to production server. In order to maintain the quality of the application and to make it defect free post install testing is processed. Smoke testing will be done for the whole website

Infinity application gives users live updates of the events and the preview details of the upcoming events. It has online registration module which helps users to register for the interested events through payment gateway. End to end testing is completed as it includes payment gateway module. Tested the application in different devices and has done compatibility testing.

Harmony is a platform where events are announced which uses an API interface to display on the website. API interface acts like a bridge between two different servers and used to connect it. So end to end testing is implemented for both the sites.

Project 4:

Project Title : Number Plate Recognition

Team Size : 4

The Automatic Number Plate Recognition is a system which is designed to help in recognition of number plates of vehicle. The purpose of designing this system is to develop security system. This system performs the various functions like number plate detection of vehicles, then processing them and using the processed data for storing and allows the vehicle to enter or reject the vehicle. This system is based upon the image processing technology which involves the number of image processing algorithm. The objective of this system is to design an efficient automatic vehicle number plate and used the system for various applications like toll collection, parking system, border crossing, traffic control, stolen cars etc. The Recognition system consist of mainly four stages to implement the system which are image acquisition, number plate extraction, number plate segmentation and character recognition. We mainly concrete on three steps: one is to locate the number plate, second is to segment all the number and to identify each number separately, third is to recognize each character.
