I Have completed my graduation (BE Electrical) in 1983 from Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh.
Joined National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) on 18.02.1984 at Nangal (Punjab) and attended the class room training (18.02.1984 to 24.05.1984).
Completed my one-year on job training at NFL Bhatinda (Punjab) from 25.05.1984 to 08.06.1985.
Transferred to NFL Vijaypur (MP) on 09.06.1985, involved fully in Erection, Testing & Commissioning of electrical systems of Ammonia, Urea, BOP, 132 kV switch yard and 25 MW Gas Turbines (02 Nos) as a captive power plant. Then I was assigned a job of operation and maintenance of the Gas Turbines and send for training on Gas Turbo-Generators and GEC Alstom control System called "SPEEDTRONICS" MARK-4 for 26 days at BELFORT, FRANCE on their Generator Manufacturing works in 1987. I was at NFL Vijaypur up to 15.12.1988.
Left NFL and Joined NTPC Ltd on 17.12.1988 at Anta Gas Power Project (Rajasthan) and involved in Testing Commissioning of electrical systems of Gas power plant, first unit was commissioned in Jan 1989.
Then worked in electrical maintenance department covering all areas of the power plant (Generator, Transformers, Switch Yard, protection system of Generator/Transformers, Switch Yard etc.).
Worked as a HOD (Electrical) from 01.04.1997 to 31.03.2001 at Anta Gas Power Plant.
Then on promotion transferred to NTPC Faridabad Gas Power Plant (from 01.04.2001 to 22.01.2002) and worked as a head (EMG + EC).
Then Transferred to NTPC-Consultancy (DVB-CTPP Pragati Power Plant) for commissioning activities from 23.01.2002 to 31.03.2003.
Then Transferred to Anta Gas Power Plant & worked as a (HOD Elect) from 01.04.2013 to 30.09.2005. Then promoted and worked as HOD (Elect) up to 30.06.2010.
Then Promoted as AGM (Maint.) and worked as head of maintenance (all Maint Groups) and got the exposure of Gas Turbines, other mechanical & C&I systems overhauling/ routine maintenance etc. from 01.07.2010 to 28.07.2015 carried out many major works and worked as O&M head and many times Project head.
Then Transferred to SSTPS Singrauli (UP) as a head of MTP from 03.08.2015 to 21.07.2016.
Then Transferred to NTPC Consultancy (Chhabra site of RRVUNL, Rajasthan) from 26.07.2016 to 21.01.2019 worked as a Project Manager with other 05 executives from NTPC and turned around the Chhabra thermal power plant, now the plant is running better then NTPC own plant.
